San Diego definitely offers some gorgeous pet photography locations, but head about an hour north to Temecula and there's a whole nother world of scenery! I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to do a pet portrait session with Husky sisters Emily and Misty amidst the pastoral backdrop of lush grapevines and rolling hills. I had the pleasure of doing a mini photo session with two of the most adorable puppies at one of my favorite spots to do pet portraits -- Mission Trails Regional Park near Santee in east San Diego. A Good Samaritan found these two Great Pyrenees sisters abandoned in an alfalfa field east of Bakersfield in Lake Isabella. Every effort was made to track down the original owners but it became more and more apparent these dogs were dumped and nobody was ever coming back for them.
