I had the pleasure of doing a mini photo session with two of the most adorable puppies at one of my favorite spots to do pet portraits -- Mission Trails Regional Park near Santee in east San Diego. A Good Samaritan found these two Great Pyrenees sisters abandoned in an alfalfa field east of Bakersfield in Lake Isabella. Every effort was made to track down the original owners but it became more and more apparent these dogs were dumped and nobody was ever coming back for them. Luckily a wonderful rescue stepped up, and these fluffy loves were transported to San Diego. These sweet puppies are about 4 months old and just want to be loved. Both dogs are a little shy and timid, but are very loving once they build trust with people. They are adoptable from the Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California Rescue, and not only are they looking for homes, they still need names! Scroll through their photos and get to know them a bit, then submit your suggesions below!
Puppy #1 is a total top model, and worked the camera like a pro.
I'm pretty sure she gives Tyra Banks a run for her money with the "smizing."
Puppy #2 is a little more shy and coy - she preferred to let her dog beauty speak for itself.
