Dallas TX – Robyn Pope of Haute Dog: Couture Pet Photography has placed third in The Kennel Club’s annual dog portrait competition in the ‘Puppy’ category! Established in 2005 and receiving over 10,000 entries from photographers around the globe, the Kennel Club Dog Photographer of the Year is the world’s largest annual dog photographer competition. Dog Photographer of the Year is an annual event which includes an exhibition of the winning images in the Kennel Club Art Gallery in London. The aim of the annual competition is "to engage the wider dog owning audience by promoting happy, healthy dogs and the positive benefits of dogs in society through the promotion of positive dog images." This year’s jury included Neil Freeman of Nikon School UK, Alastair Jolly of SmugMug, Hollie Latham Hucker of Amateur Magazine, and Kennel Club executives. These esteemed judges were joined by special guest judge, German commercial and editorial dog photographer, Elke Vogelsang.
